With the first sip of this wine on the palate, you first feel wormwood, which gives it bitterness, and on the other hand has the sweetness of fruit, anise, orange and other spices. Windel is a wine that the hosts make from several ingredients. The famous Hajduk Veljko Petrovic, the defender of Negotin, and his outlaws drank it for strength, tonicity and as a medicine. This wine is enough on its own, it does not go with homemade cakes.
Aglaja Pelenaš represents a synergy of the old and new tastes of the Negotin region and as such is intended for all lovers of sweet wines and true gourmets.
It can be served as an aperitif at room temperature or as a still with any traditional Serbian cake, such as cupcakes, dry pies with apples and buns with jam.
Serving temperature: 16-18°C.
